Glatisant Ashcan

Glatisant is a two-player TTRPG about heroic Knights Errant and the enigmatic Questing Beasts they seek. The Knight must capture the Beast, and the Beast must make the Knight worthy of their legend. 

Set against a backdrop of Arthurian legend, this game lets you and a friend experience an epic quest where every encounter is a choice that moves you closer to success, loss, love, obsession, hope, or despair.

The Quest

Glatisant uses the Carta system by Peach Garden Games, in which a deck of cards becomes a tableau of encounters and storytelling prompts. Each encounter will tax or reward the Knight’s Body, Mind, or Spirit. The Knight must be on the same card as the Beast to win, but only the Beast knows what extra goal must be achieved as you quest. It can be played in as little as 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the depth of your journaling.

Glatisant is a game about loving and being loved. It helps you ask whether the object of your desire owes you anything in return, how a dream can care for its dreamer, and how to walk worthy of the calling with which you are called.

Glatisant is currently in playtesting, with an expected release in 2025. The final version will have original art, brilliant layout, and improved mechanics based on your feedback!

Print Your Own at Home

If you would like to print and fold your own physical edition of the game, then download the "glatisant-print-files" which include an interior set of pages, and a cover sheet. Its all set up so that you can just hit print front and back and then fold the pages, and add the cover on the outside.
